Introduction

Writing has never been my strongest subject. This blog will probably ramble with run-on sentences, grammatical errors, and general mistakes that would make my English teachers cringe. That being said, I am going to use this arena to share my thoughts and feelings on many subject affiliated with my life: past, present and future. Some of the posts will be funny, some will be sad and others may be down right cynical and sarcastic. This blog will incorporate not only stories of fun times or ghosts from the past, but the on going process of enjoying the present, and planning for my future. Many recent occurrences in my life have driven me to feel the need to express my thoughts in a larger forum including five years of infertility, the sudden accidental deaths of a close friends, and beginning to rebuild a life in colorful Colorado.
While I will not use direct names, many people who may read this may find themselves mentioned. Please understand that while I may reveal some very intimate parts of my life, they are not meant to offend. It is your choice to read this, so if a post catches you off guard  please just remember this is a personal space, an outlet for many things in my life, and the next post may just enlighten you a little on where I come from. Some posts will be quite short, others may be long stories. I will set it up into chapters as I feel necessary  and try to tell you from the title which chapter that post will fall.
I grew up in a small town in central Illinois, the youngest of three, my parents gave me many blessings in life. One of which was going to kindergarten with many of the same people I would graduate with 12 years later in the same town. At the time, this was a terrible torture I could not ever imagine being a blessing. However, the group of friends I made during this time have become an invaluable and integral part of my life. Not only did I meet my husband and best friend, I met a group of people who I would not trade for the world. I have known many of them for 20+ years, and they have introduced me to their spouses; widening this group into the fun loving, outgoing, do anything for each other friends that most people only wish they could find.
I am also blessed with a very supportive family, who while gives me many opinions, they have helped guide and mold me into who I am today.
Once a wandering soul, I find myself today enjoying life for the minute, not always contemplating or concerned with what is next. I live to play and I work in environments that allow me to do this. Camping, gardening, photography, and skiing are just a few of my many hobbies. My husband says I am unable to stop, and that no matter my instant decision I always land on my feet.
Enough rambling for an introduction, please sit back, turn your cell phone off, and enjoy the ride.....
